"Hot Santa" (Christmas, comedy romance), is a holiday-themed story set in a charming Northern California shopping mall. The narrative follows Davina (Dayve) Jenson, a determined and striking mall manager, as she deals with mysterious break-ins during the Christmas season. Despite nothing being stolen, Dayve suspects a larger criminal plot and seeks help from her former police captain, who assigns Kayson Danvers, a ruggedly handsome cop on leave, to go undercover as the mall's Santa Claus. Kayson, accompanied by his loyal police dog Scout, reluctantly takes the job to avoid losing his badge.
The story blends mystery, romance, and holiday cheer, as Dayve and Kayson navigate their past relationship while working together to uncover the truth behind the break-ins. The screenplay introduces a colorful cast of characters, including Beth, Dayve's bubbly assistant; Christian, a quirky shop owner; and Marmee and Paula, who run a trendy fashion store. The festive atmosphere of the mall, complete with a grand Christmas tree and holiday decorations, sets the stage for the unfolding drama.
As the plot progresses, the attraction between Dayve and Kayson rekindles, and the mystery deepens with more break-ins and strange occurrences, such as food wrappers and toys left behind. The story builds tension with a brewing storm, power outages, and the mall's closure, leaving Dayve and Kayson stranded together overnight. The story promises a mix of heartfelt moments, humor, and suspense, making it a compelling holiday tale.
